This series has taken what I thought I knew about the genre and made it so much more the better. All of the characters, love them or hate them, are so vivid with depth and individuality. The worlds are familiar and yet feel so vastly alien. The roller-coaster of laughs, adventure, story building and tragedy all add up to a series that you can't stop listening to once you've started. 11 books in so far, can't wait to see where this all finishes up. Jeffrey Kafer is the perfect voice for this series, I owe so much of my love for this to him and his performances

I have been listening to these books now for what seems forever. There is just enough progress each book to satisfy but it is getting a little repetitive. Hopefully there will be some resolution soon.

Another great addition to a fantastic series.
We have the perfect combination of a rollicking space adventure, with short and long term story arcs, great characterisation of heroes, factions and species, mixed with a good dash of humour - all made real with the perfect narrator.
