About this listen

A cyber-enhanced operator seeks to take down her creators while maintaining her fragile humanity in the thrilling conclusion of this dystopian adventure.

Fighting her way through the dark underbelly of civilization, Juliet Bianchi has become a top-tier mercenary with a heart of gold and a killer smile. A shadowy, high-priced operative embedded with high-tech AI, she goes by the moniker "Lucky," and the life she once led as a metal scrapper seems eons behind her.

Now, armed with her very own formidable monoblade and fresh ink warning all others not to mess with her lest they become very dead, she's taking a step away from business to handle something personal . . .

Not long ago, Juliet went to the wall for her former best friend, Ghoul, and her kin—only to end up betrayed in the worst way. She's finally discovered where her old ally's been hiding from both her and the dangerous megacorporations: war-devastated Earth.

Who knows whether any of them will survive the reunion, but it's a risk Juliet must take. Unfortunately, there's more. The very corporation that developed the tech she carries has been waiting for her to make a mistake like this. A mistake that might deliver her right into their merciless hands.

The sixth volume of the hit cyberpunk series—with more than a million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

A very believable take on Corpo saturation. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

Excellent Cyberpunk series

this series has been impossible to put down. it is vivid, well written and spoken. there is only one complaint i have and that's that it ended. it was a great ending that I will dream about for years to come.

epic story

I like that the author mostly ties the loose ends but leaving enough threads to explore more of Juliet and Angel story if he or she wants to do it in the future. It is a satisfying ending to see how far the main character grow.

The book has a proper ending

There are large parts of this book I found unsatisfying, but at least the series isn't over. I'm not sure if I want to continue reading the series, but hopefully future volumes redeem it.

Disappointing

I went through all 6 books in about a wk. Once I started i was hooked. All the cyber gear and upgrades and techy talk was cool and is explained in ways that are easy to understand so you could get a sense of how all the tech stuff works. This is really the lite-litrpg side of things scratching that itch:)

Juliette as a character is consistent as are all the others. Despite becoming arguably one of the most powerful cyber enhanced human beings in the galaxy, she retains her caring and compassionate self and always gives her enemies the chance to do the right thing. Maybe the only thing that was perhaps unrelatable to me was how she remained sane. She does cry a fair bit but I’m willing to believe that she just has a very high stress ceiling, cause anyone else would crack and throwaway their morals in extreme situations when they feel helpless with easy morally grey solutions right in front of them.

Cyber dreams also delves in themes of the soul, and its relation to AI, what makes a person human and how cybernetics intertwine with this. These are all themes that I wished cyberpunk 2077 had delved into more so, it was cool to feast on these philosophical questions.

I think what I was surprised with was just how good the world building was. I got a very clear sense of the locations, the corps, the ships, the planets and what they looked like. Many are revisited time and time again so in a way they become characters as well.

Here’s how I would rate each book…

Book 1. 9/10
Book 2. 10/10
Book 3. 9/10
Book 4. 9/10
Book 5. 8/10
Book 6. 8/10

Something about this final book let me a tiny bit wanting. I guess that happens sometimes when the book ends eluding to future books to continue the story. But im not sure I want it to. I don’t see how Juliette could really become much more powerful, her life being in constant danger in the first few books Isnt really there anymore. Book 2 really was amazing because that was constantly over her head. I think if the story does continue, I’d prefer a different MC whose story collides with Juliette’s in some way.

But anyway, great read and I thoroughly recommend to any sci-fi/Litrpg enthusiasts:) Thank you Mr Plum Parrot 🦜

A satisfying conclusion
