Landon Hamilton is no stranger to adversity. As the Diuscrucis, Purgatory's champion in the war between Heaven and Hell, he's had to deal with his unfair share: The vampire who betrayed him, the beast who imprisoned him, the angel who tried to kill him, and the powerful demon who almost did. As the war between good and evil continues to escalate, it is up to Landon and his remaining allies to put an end to the threat. But when your greatest adversary is also one of the people you love the most, can there be a happy ending?

AWESOME!!!

I'm sad to see the journey of Landon end but the ride was indeed an awesome one. Probably one of my favorite characters in a series Found myself emotionally invested in the character and his burden to maintain balance..This book was truly a bitter sweet one...Thank you M.R. Forbes for the moments you helped me escape every day life through Landon..Looking forward to the next series!!!!!

Unexpected

Thats the best word for this ending. It was perfectly fitting yet not something I saw comming at all.

My only issue is that I couldn't remeber everything that had happened in past books. So as everything came togehter there was some holes in my memory. Forbes did a great job of not making it feel like I had to perfectly remember though. Plus Hays voices tend to stir up memories as soon as the characters make an appearance.

Overall I'm happy to have been introduced to this series. Forbes certainly has a fan for anything he releases and I've already listened to most of what Hays records. They are a fantastic match.

An awesome end to an epic series.

From the beginning of the series to the end, I have enjoyed every single minute of this story. It truly is a shame it's ended, but all good things come to an end.

Fun read, but ending leaves too many loose threads

While I liked the book and Jeff Hays did a wonderful job performing the different characters, I felt the ending left somewhat to be desired. Honestly if he was ending it like this I felt the fourth book in the last arc would have been a better stopping point. He gains power to fight the girl from the last book and then gives the power he's gained up again. Then the hot woman Alex the great were, turns from devoted love slave to pretty much becoming a pacifist and abandoning the fight with him after a couple days away. And I don't think the author ever explained how she was able to remember him even though all the divine and humans are all supposed to forget him after five minutes in this new physical body. Then it turns out that supposedly even though his job is to keep the balance between good and evil that his presence is upsetting that balance.

Basicly this book makes the previous six seem pointless.

Great way to end the series

A great conclusion to the divine series. Another great adventure and I was happy if not surprised with the ending.

To short for the cost , Still great book

If you could sum up Extinction in three words, what would they be?

Great book, To expensive for a book 2-3 hours shorter than the rest of the series
