Ken Randall und die sechs anderen des Teams werden zur Berichterstattung zur Erde beordert. Sie gehen erneut durch das Star Gate. Sie landen abermals auf einer fremden Welt, einem Dschungelplaneten, Vetusta genannt. Vom Computer des dortigen Transmitters werden sie als "unerwünscht" eingestuft und zu einer anderen Welt "abgestrahlt", auf der über ihr Schicksal entschieden werden soll...
