Held my interest to the end

I am not a YA but I really enjoyed this socially aware short story. The characters were interesting, likeable and quite believable. And even though the story had predictable elements I still wanted to know how it all ended!
The length was good for an easy listen. I think the narrator was excellent - she really brought all the characters to life for me.
