This was my first book and will not be the last.

I am interested in the Elite Universe and that is what got me started. But it was the emotional connection with the victims and unwitting hero's that had me hooked.

The story was a Rolla coaster and the narration brought addition life to the characters. All involved should be very proud. Drew Wagar's writing style painted amazing pictures that bought the universe to life and filled in gaps that I had not understood.

I don't usually like sound effects in my audiobooks, but considering I recognised 90% of them from the game, they were pretty well done. Good story full of space battles political intrigue and betrayal upon betrayal.

Good production values compliment an enjoyable story.

great story telling, good use of sound effects. some characters ie Salome don't appear to match the character, her narration is that of a winey nervous girl, which she is most certainly not. Dalk's character on the other hand is spot on as an experience, cool under pressure "bounty hunter "
