What a ride!

Ebony Gate as a thrilling ride from the first page to the last. Emiko is a great protagonist - so much snark, so many great weapons. There are epic battles, clan politics, family tensions, a shinigami and a foo lion. I was particularly excited to listen to the book as Natalie Naudus is always great to listen to. I can’t wait to see where the rest of the series goes.
