About this listen

Get ready for the endgame.

James, fresh from the high of joining his players for the Siege Event, gets a mysterious invitation from Hades and is soon confronted with a truth that is impossible to deny. A truth that sets him on a collision course with the most powerful figures in the world and could spell the end of DCO itself.

With an impossible task ahead of them, James and Rue embark on one last immersion together. One last dive with the Knights, one last new floor, and one last set of random mobs. But even the shenanigans of the Random Dungeon can only distract them for so long because one final patch is coming, a worldwide event is coming.

And if James and his friends can’t stop what is coming, it’s game over for everyone.

The Author's heart just did not seem to be in this final book.

The story felt rushed and less well thought out then the previous books. The humour was also very much lacking. If you read the first 4 books then I guess you should read this one to- just prepare to be dissapointed.

The Narrator Travis Baldree performed well, as he always does, it is just a pity that the book he was reading was not as good as his voice talents.

I was very dissapointed with this final book.

Worst book ending since wheel of time

it was a perfect performance by travis as usual.

but the story not so much, it honestly felt like 90 percent of the book was fluff to up the word count, I just got the impression that the author would have rather written one chapter and all it would be is just a small oh this is the plan we stopped the big bad and now the end, it felt like the author gave up on this series 2 books ago

the ending was way too rushed and beyond too short
