great book love and hate the characters abit to many stats but the jokes and banter is choice!

If you like Primal Hunter but you wanted the MC with way more weeb charisma? Then this is your book with alot of references and hilarious moments and dosen't shy away from adult grit then definitely give this book a try takes alittle to get going but the main guy is both hilarious and realistic which he feels more human then primal hunter's main character given the circumstances. Chris and Jess do another fantastic job. They just put so much heart and soul in what they do best and you can tell they had a blast doing this.

Just stats and mechanic dumps. The story is barely there and the author is trying way too hard to make the MC quirky and fun.

Very much dislike the main character Drake, he's very dramatic with everything he does. Author made him over the top dramatic even in life and death circumstances just to try get a laugh out of people. The humour isn't my style either but I just found the book boring and bland, everything that was to make the book somewhat funny made it cringe for me, he's 26 yet acts like he's 13 years, more effort was put into references and quirky comments that actual combat flow. The review who said its similar to The Primal Hunter, they are wrong on so many levels, just because this book has taken some elements from that series they are by far not close to being similar. Overall I think its a decent book for its length and the Narrators are the best duo in this industry
