About this listen

'This book is a joy to read, unlocking every bit of delicious promise in the premise' B&N Sci-Fi & Fantasy Blog on Strange Practice

When Greta Helsing, doctor to the undead, is called to Paris to present at a medical conference, she expects nothing more exciting than professional discourse on zombie reconstructive surgery.

Unfortunately for Greta, Paris happens to be infested with a coven of vampires - and not the civilised kind. If she hopes to survive, Greta must navigate the maze of ancient catacombs beneath the streets, where there is more to find than simply dead men's bones.

I love this series, great characters and a punchy narrative. Highly recommend for a quick read.

Nothing dreadful about this. Was brilliant company! Have binged book 1 and 2, now into number 3 without further ado.

Dr Helsing doesn’t actually play that much of a role in the storyline. She is just one woman in amongst bunch of male supernatural beings.
A huge shame because this UF premise has a lot of promise but doesn’t deliver in the end.
I ended up googling the author to see how old she was, because some of it is well written and cleverly worded and some of it is just awfully written with terrible dialogue. Surprised to see that Viv isn’t a precocious and well read 18-year-old author.

No. Nope. Nuh uh.
