Publisher's Summary

Accepting his dragon-shifting birthright will place a mark on Theo’s head. Can he level fast enough to survive?

Separated as a child from his family, Theo has always had a feeling that he’s made for something bigger than the suburban life he seems to be headed for. When a bully threatens his best friend, he can’t help but step in the way. The problem is that Theo’s just not much of a fighter.

Bruised and broken, Theo wakes up to a massive headache and what appears to be floating game text inviting him to become a dragon. While ludicrous, no matter how often he rejects the prompt, it simply returns. Knowing that his life can’t get any worse, he finally accepts...

And that’s when he’s finally exposed to the real world, filled with goblins, orcs, and dragons.

Having started at such a late point in life, Theo’s at a huge disadvantage starting at Level 1 and in extreme danger. As he soon learns from his squire, a woman who’s followed him in the shadows since birth, dragons are both jealous and territorial. The only way for Theo to survive is to embark on an epic quest to level up and to claim his rightful draconic heritage.

Drakon Prince is an exciting new LitRPG/GameLit novel from bestseller Jamie Mcfarlane, complete with goblins, dragons, elves, and orcs. The world includes game elements such as skill progression, user and weapon attributes, fortress building, soul shard currency, and much, much more for lovers of all things progression fantasy!

I really enjoyed this, and please continue

I just discovered this on a whim and I loved every single second of it, if there was a continuation I would personally throw my money at it without question, I have only 40 minutes left and will savour every bit, I hope there will be more for this story and likely there will be as the author has made a massive hole from what I see, that needs to be filled with other books in this series, but if not I will be quite sad.

Someone please check in on the people around this

On the whole this is held up by the person reading it. I found i was mostly hanging around just to hear more from them, & not having anything else currently out, then the story itself.
Everyone interesting is female & becomes a follower of the main guy, with the only one case of that not being true fading away like they never existed, but then all the females also have personality changes & all become 1 dimensional.
Listen in and puke when they all talk to him like he is baby.
"Ohh my big strong boy." 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Everyone else is a huge a hole alfa male troll bull crud. And as the MC grows strong, you can see how he is one too but an "nice guy."
It really shows off how the writers view the world & I worry for anyone around them.

Different but Good

Throughly enjoyed this ! Bit different but enjoyed it all the same, a few small things are repetitive (like any RPG) but loved the idea behind it !

Don't know what the other review was on about.

I was nervous reading this after the review saying how every other male in the book was an ass. I don't think he even read the book. There were an appropriate mix of characters and the main character develops in what is an interesting universe. Great read.

Performance was good

I hate the main character. Why did he choose warrior and protected. Why not choose mage or even if he chose warrior, why not choose weapons master, because it literally gives you proficiency in ALL skills. I can only say that he is the stupidest character EVER. I am dissapointed in the book.
Even though it is not as bad as other LITRPG books with the stat's, but there are still a lot of stat's. Only thing keeping me listening is the guy performing. He is definitely a guy who I will recommend, but just not when he's reading anything related to this book.
LITERALLY WHY DO ALL LITRPG HAVE AO MANY STATE. This is not as bad as other LitRPG books but there are still A LOT OF statistics.
I AM NOT A FAN and I DO NOT recommend this for anyone who values their time.
