About this listen

Please note this is not a dark romance.

When I found my boyfriend cheating on me, I did something stupid. Or should I say, someone? Because of that mistake, I'm now stuck in a world I don't belong in. I'm a law student. They're criminals. He's the Vice President of a MC. I'm a good girl with a strict upbringing. He's my ex-boyfriend's brother. And I'm screwed.

Great story. i couldn't put it down! I was sucked in to Fayes world from the first word in the story until the last.

Loved it

Nice light mc storyline. Narrator spoke quite quickly so I slowed the playback down which made it easier to listen to. Bit choppy in the writing and I agree with other reviews that it jumps around, and skips details a bit. Go into it without really high hopes and it's good.

Nice story

Enjoyed this book immensely in depth story about the tough bikers …good for everyone at times a bit too true but loved it 😉👍🏻

first time listen from this Author and it was pretty good.
there wasn't a lot of grit....and it was mysoginistic in some places. the change up with the heroines attitude towards the hero was a bit sudden and it didn't get very deep, it tended to skim the surface where that part was concerned.
the storyline was good and the author gives the heroine a bit of spunk which is supposed to keep the bikers in tow but there are a few shallow bits and questions that just dont pan out for me.
no spoilers so you'll have to decide whether to read/listen.
in my opinion an MC book normally goes right for the jugular. but I've listened to a lot where they just touchdown.
if your ok with a lighter side of MC writing then you'll enjoy this style of writing.
the grittiest I've ever read is a tillie Cole..Hades hangman series and I think she spoiled me for this type of book. That's Grit!!!
back to this plotline...Ms Fernando uses Australia for her setting and seeing as I'm Australian I had to frown. Perth is where they reside and that's where I'm from...but there is nothing describing the place so unless you know the name of cities in Australia or what thongs are (flip flops by USA standards) then you wouldn't know. she also had an American narrating.??
Ava was great BTW she did both voices well and used her tone and inflections to a T.
at the back end of the book as it neared completion, time goes very quickly, almost like it's rushed and you don't really get a timestamp, it just...well..goes.
I'll listen to trackers story as I'm invested in the boys now and I'm used to her writing style.

on the lighter side
