Very informative audiobook on Depression and Anxiety and how to cope with it. Sometimes just because a person doesn't say I am depressed and I need help, it doesn't mean that they are fine and not depress. I have a history of depression since my teens and

I have a history of depression since my teens and since having my baby I've had some mild intermittent symptoms, so I sought this out as something to work through and help reset my mind. It breaks down the warning signs and symptoms, including a test to work through. It goes into further detail on the impact of depression on specific areas such as social life, work or schoolwork, and includes a comprehensive list of practical tips and exercises for rebuilding your wellbeing. Later in the audiobook, it goes on to differentiate between anxiety, panic attacks and depression, although the three can often go hand in hand. There's also a useful section to help loved ones to start a conversation with those who are suffering and how best to intervene and support.

I've been through different therapy, and I know the root of my anxiety, but I was looking for something to help me when I'm feeling anxious that wasn't medication. The audiobook is helpful if you have specific anxiety about one thing, or more generalized - like me. I've been having fun chipping away at the audiobook and working through my anxiety episodes. As a person who suffers from depression and anxiety, I was cynical about an audiobook helps, but this audiobook has helped, it’s strategies for coping we’re particularly helpful, as well as just listening about what depression is and how it affects your thoughts and thinking, this is teaching you that your feelings and thoughts are separate but are a sort of cause and effect.
