About this listen
I was excessively overweight and did not admit it. I acknowledged that I was a little fat. I claimed that I was fat-but-fit. I could exercise. Then, I admitted that I was fat-and-unfit. Still, I denied reality. I did not count calories, weigh myself, understand muscle loss, or appreciate exercise. I lived in denial. I was dying in denial. Eventually, I had a series of insights wrestling the daddy demon I call Denial. I am no longer denying denial. I found my healthy, aspirational self.
