Not as good as previous books

This 3rd book in the series was way to techy for my tastes. But still it was a fun read. I LOVE LOVE the narrator!

Interdimensional nonsense

This series generally well-written and for young-adults. The parents are all powerful but unable to do anything and the children must accomplish everything over their parents protestation --- standard YA stuff. Michael Manning does a great job of showing how people feel when events happen to them, especially negative ones. I enjoyed the previous novels and was expecting another great story here. Unfortunately, this novel feels so disconnected from the others that it's like the start of a new series. The tie in to the history of the series is a huge letdown: The antagonist in the past who chased the She'Har thousands of years ago is a recently developed artificial intelligence made by humans in an alternate reality. Now that the future is here the past is ready to begin. Beam me up, Scotty.

The beginning has me boggled.

Is this the same series? What the heck is happening? I feel like i'm listening to a different book, with hints of similarities. I can't endure anymore.

Never gets dull

Michael G Manning has made such an enthralling world, I can't leave! I do my best to pre-order all of his books so as soon as they come out, I can get back to the friends and family I have grown to know and love so much! Also Derek Perkins does a wonderful job as always!

Story and Performance Great - Language Unecessary

Very well written and performed. Captivating story, each book focused on a main character. The language was just unnecessary and nearly made me turn it off. Some if for comic relief, all of which could have been done without offensive language.

Disappointing

An exploration of modern times vs the remote past from both points of view, tedious and an enormous anti-climax from book 2 from which it's almost completely disconnected.

It was okay...

I thought the book was okay, but with so many in my wish list I was left feeling that maybe I should have listened to something else. If you really need something to listen to, give it a go.
