"Kill. Kill them all." It's the first four words Lars usually wakes up to every morning as the voice in his head nags him, telling him she's just giving him a "quest" that will help him "level".

But even if he wanted to do it, he can't. They're cultivators; beings with ancestral bloodlines that have powers he could only dream of and that may as well be gods while he is stuck as a puny human. the bloopers at the end r a great behind the scenes look at how much work the narrators mist put into each and every audio book. I could never have the patience to do the amazing work they do to bring such great stories to life

Although the dynamic between death and the warlock is fun, The ultra powerleveling with the only obstacle being the MC's supposed morality with the forced conflicts power zones based on cultivation is soon boring just straight up say its a cultivatiin novel with a system, instead of including warlock in the title, being a warlock should come with a choice that is pursued from a character standpoint rather than a plot contrivance.

A revenge mystery w/o any competent antagonist.
