Not up to the usual standard. The narration is not as good as usual and I find it difficult to listen to Gordy read by another narrator. Just not the same for me.

I find it hard to believe that David J Gatward wrote this book. The characters are horrible and impossible to connect with. The plot is feeble.
The narration is truly awful - this is not what we are used to from David J Gatward.

The discussion/ banter got very annoying as it just seemed to be pointless, it wasn’t funny or witty so didn’t add to the story or develop the characters. There is also some problems with sentences repeating and the speed suddenly increasing. I am a big fan of the Grimm series and I enjoyed the first book of this series but this one I returned.
