Loved the way the story took a turn in the middle! I couldn’t get into the DI Haig books at the start but glad I persevered!

Another great read

Not enough restbite as we have in Grimm stories! A great story in the end however.

Convoluted and complex in the early stages but came together as the story progressed.

Brilliantly strange and creepy central story with some extremely visceral and moving descriptions of grief and its effects also. This is one of the best instalments of both the Grimm and Haig books. If the author could refrain from having his characters constantly discuss whether everything they encounter makes sense or not, this series could possibly move from solid entertainment to something more. In any case, this is highly recommended reading.

Strange and creepy goodness

I don't like the narrators voice/accent, others will not be put off by it. It was well read. It's just a personal opinion.

Good story as usual.
