About this listen

Deadly Game begins as a mission to protect a politician from an assassination threat. But the operation takes an unexpected turn when Mari, a mysteriously beautiful GhostWalker, is taken hostage. At the same time, Ken Norton, expert assassin and himself a GhostWalker warrior, is on a mission of his own - one that reaches into Mari's own past. No stranger to the ways of violent warfare, Mari must join forces with Ken and trust his every move - each one more intimate than the last.©2007 Christine Feehan (P)2009 BBC Audio Fantasy Romantic Suspense Romance Fiction Suspense Assassin Paranormal Ghost Haunted

well, we got yet another girl back and proof that whitney is actually alive .
I gasped at the development of the crazy experiments Whitney senior kept dreaming up.
and while the previous book was intricately woven and sent us down the path of this one.
there is a lot of repetitive interaction both introspectively and psychically. it got me skipping fwd a few times . which I've never done. the..... can't stay, can't be with them....
the twins are 2 amazingly difficult men and just when you think jacks the worry...in comes Ken.!
some steam as usual and of course lots of the experimental pairings.
I felt for ken and marigold was relateable as a badass heroine.
the ending is clever as the other women are scattered to the winds so ghostwalkers go on....

not as well rounded as the previous books
