Publisher's Summary

For Mack McKinley and his team of GhostWalker killing machines, urban warfare is an art. But despite a hard-won knowledge of the San Francisco streets, Mack knows from experience that too many things can still go wrong. Danger was just another part of the game--and now he's come face-to-face with a woman who can play just as tough. She's Jaimie, a woman with a sapphire stare so potent it can destroy a man. Years ago she and Mack had a history--volatile, erotic, and electric. Then she vanished. Now she's walked back into Mack's life, as a spy with more secrets than are good for her. Against all odds, she's hooking up with Mack one more time to take on an enemy that could destroy them both, or bring them back together in a no-holds-barred adrenaline rush.

"Never Disapoints!"

I am such a fan of this series.
From the first book each new installment just adds to the richness and strength of the series. As for the narrator - lets just face the fact that i could listen to Tom Stechschulte read the phone book and would be perfectly content! He makes every character come to life, captures the nuances of each individual and holds you spellbound till the end. Highly recommend this series and this exceptional narrator!

Same dialogue; different names

I'm starting to fast-forward through some of the scenes, especially the love scenes. The same words and phrases are used in book after book. Either the editor or author needs a thesaurus. Better yet, both of them.

I hope to never hear "you're so damn tight" again. The woman is always "so damn beautiful" and the man is always huge.

While I've read over 20 books of another author's series, with this series I think I'm done here.

O M G!!! I loved this book!!!

The narrator's voice is fabulous...Mac is a bit of a jerk but he gets it together in the end. Thank god for a good woman! lol :) the storyline although somewhat predictable is well-written and captivating and as usual Christine Feehan doesn't let me down!!! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Decent Ghost Walker Audible

Always worried when I have read most of the series and then start listening, but it was enjoyable. I thought the narrator did a good job, kept me entertained. I like the ghost walker series, so pretty much what you'd expect from the series.

Not the Best

Okay, this might be my age but I thought MACK was an a$$ on numerous occasions. He manipulates Jamie with sex constantly. He wonders why she won’t trust him and then does things that confirm that he can’t be trusted. In the end he once again manipulates her back into a life she is not emotionally equipped to deal with because he loves her so much he “can’t live without her”. Selfish, selfish, selfish. Plus Jamie is an idiot in how she reacts no matter how smart they keep saying she is.

I actually like the premise of the ghost walkers and bought and listened to this when it first came out. This carries the storyline forward somewhat but not necessarily with characters I liked or related to in any way. I did listen to the book through a second time and Fast forwarded through the sex scenes since I actually wanted a story. No romance and no finesse just monotonous descriptions. Plus how come none of the women get sore even though the sex is pretty dang rough?

No Feeling.....a bit cold

I love Christine Feehan’s work , but this series does not have much weight. The characters don’t intrigue you. I love the combination of paranormal and science she uses in this series, but it’s missing something it’s stale; even the sexual encounters are missing real feeling. I’m not sure if the narrator is taking away from the story or this just not a well rounded story that fans have come to expect from her.

A little off track!

Most characters have an attraction, however it seemed like Mack was borderline raping Jamie in this book and being very brutal. Not quite the same relationship as in the rest of the series I have read/listened too. In addition I wished the narrator would listen to his own syntax when reading to ensure he pronounces words correctly. For instance the word " live" can be be pronounced two ways. The narrator chose the wrong way, in addition to other words and places in the book.

Very sedate in comparison.

I love the narrator , but the story was lax. Good to have a complete set though. I can't wait for the next one.

Scary!

In Street Game, Mack McKinley is on a mission to get back his woman, Jaimie Fielding, on his terms. Jaimie is on a mission to stand on her own two feet and save her brothers. Overprotective beefcakes run around and run over the women in their lives as only Christine Feehan can write them. But when does wanting to claim a woman turn into wanting to own an object? In other words, when does overprotective alpha male who worships his goddess turn into Boxing Helena? Mack might actually be crossing that line. Christine Feehan always produces an enjoyable story. I cannot imagine a narrator for this series besides Tom Stechschulte. He is the voice of this series.

Fantastic story full of action

This story was brilliant. The story is so interesting and the characters really pull you in. The female character you will love as she is witty, defiant, compliant, smart, intelligent, so many things. The male character is annoying, funny, caring and strong, a true alpha. The comrade between them all is hilarious, and you feel a part of it as you read, bonding with the characters. I have read this on hardback, kindle and audible so many times its that good!
