So I bought Fortuna Sworn first and was skeptical because I didn't know whether I'd enjoy it. I was more drawn to the cover the art work and whenI started it didn't bring in as I thought. But why judge something when I haven't started yet? So I continued and what do you know the slow start was definitely worth it because after I finished the book I bought the second and third ones and couldn't wait for the delivery ended buying the audible.
Wow the cliffhangers at the end of each of the books really blew me away! I love the story the way it made Fortuna stronger and much more independent. How she managed her pain, her love, her loyalty she is a TRUE Queen! Her trouple relationship with Collith and Laurie, her love for family and her sacrifices as a person as a woman. Making friends with the unlikely of people really made it interesting to read and listen!
I can not wait for Book 4 I have already pre-ordered it and Dec 7th Hurry lol.
Definitely recommend this series, for those who love fantasy and have a strong heart and mind when it comes to slavery, blood gore and abuse trust the storyline it is worth the read and/or listen! K.J Sutton did not disappoint!
