Als Kommandant einer Flotte von Fleischtransportern steht er unter der ständigen Beobachtung potenzieller Konkurrenten. Doch er fühlt sich sicher auf seinem Posten und freut sich schon auf die Jagd. Die Beute, so glaubt er, waren friedliche Pelzträger mit einer primitiven Zivilisation, die keine Probleme bereiten würden.
