Mit dem Solsystem ist schließlich ein politischer und wirtschaftlicher Knotenpunkt der Menschheitsgalaxis entfallen - die langfristigen Auswirkungen werden bereits spürbar. Die Welt Maharani wird zum Schauplatz einer Konferenz, bei der die neue Führung der Liga Freier Terraner gewählt werden so. Aber alles wird gefährdet durch DAS PLEJADEN-ATTENTAT...
