About this listen

**Now on Netflix as The Call to Courage**

Every time we are introduced to someone new, try to be creative, or start a difficult conversation, we take a risk. We feel uncertain and exposed. We feel vulnerable. Most of us try to fight those feelings - we strive to appear perfect.

In a powerful new vision Dr Brené Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability, and dispels the widely accepted myth that it's a weakness. She argues that, in truth, vulnerability is strength and when we shut ourselves off from vulnerability - fromrevealing our true selves - we distance ourselves from the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives.

Daring Greatly is the culmination of 12 years of groundbreaking social research, across every area of our lives including home, relationships, work, and parenting. It is an invitation to be courageous; to show up and let ourselves be seen, even when there are no guarantees.

This is vulnerability. This is daring greatly.

'She's so good, Brené Brown, at finding the language to articulate collective feeling' Dolly Alderton

'A wonderful book: urgent, essential and fun to read. I couldn't put it down, and it continues to resonate with me' (Seth Godin, author of Linchpin)

It's thought-provoking stuff (Stella Magazine, The Sunday Telegraph)

I loved this book. I've just finished listening to it and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my hard copy version, which I intend to use as a reference.

I've learned so much about shame, the impact it has had on my life and best of all, I've learned so much about shame resilience. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Finally understand shame!

It took to full two listenings of this audible book to really digest entirely; there is so much to absorb and comprehend. Brene’s narration is natural and very easy to listen to. I will strive to dare greatly from now on!

I loved this book so much. I found myself nodding and agreeing with many parts. I saw myself all throughout the book. It has taught me heaps and I will keep coming back to this book as a reference. I choose to dare greatly and be vulnerable. I want this in my life so I can role model it for my children.
