I really enjoyed the book, its absolutely a xianxia, but it seperates itself wonderfully from the rest and I love that it makes fun of the tropes while still managing to include them.

The characters were built well, I actually cared about them, and the pacing was good!

I am only rating it this low because every single chapter the author just spams the word xianxia, and keeps referring to cultivation books. I don't mind it sometimes but after the 30th time it's just ruining the immersion.

Just shut up and get on with the
