"An incredible story-teller." - The Los Angeles Daily News

It's a happy time for Sloan Trent and Jane Everett. What could be happier than the event of their wedding? Their Krewe friends will all be there and the event will take place in a medieval castle transported brick by brick to the New England coast. Everyone is festive and thrilled...until the priest turns up dead just hours before the nuptials.

Jane and Sloan must find the truth behind the man and the murder - the secrets of the living and the dead - before they find themselves bound for eternity - not in wedded bliss but in the darkness of an historical wrong and their own brutal deaths.

short & sweet

I have listened to many of Heather Graham's books down through the years. this one even though it was short was just as good. The narrator did a good job but I'm still used to Luke Daniel's narration.

Crimson Twilight A Krewe of Hunters Novella

In the very beginning, I liked the little about the storyline except the info about Adam Harrison - his history, where he appears and how he has had a lasting legacy not just in the Krewe but in other novel series as well Yet, I only semi-liked Graham’s insight ‘on the Krewe of hunters.’ I expected more about why she developed the characters in such a fashion or continues building different teams. It was more about her own personal experience traveling, though that experience relates to past stories. Having said that I felt I could have skipped it; I didn’t gain much from it. Now towards the end, I was confused as to why Phoebe was the killer. Even after Jane’s explanation, it doesn’t quite make sense. I understand the affair not working out - a jealous heart, but relive the past as a maid maybe- follow the steps of the previous maids evil history? This was different from Heather Graham works from some of the killers coming from the past descendent. But this time it was the descent that falls in love with Emil Roth. At the beginning of this, Graham explained she developed this concept after her son married at a castle in New England. It does not seem there was a reason nor anything leading up to the other stories in this bundle. Slightly disappointed in that. Including that Logan Raintree and Kelsey O’Brien did not get their wedding but they were able to solve the problem in the castle for the owner and his wife to be. But overall, short, and simple read that kept you guessing. Again, I was slightly confused as to why the murders did what they did, but it made a little bit of sense. Also, a feel good happily ever after story.

A haunting murder w/romance

Crimson Twilight
By: Heather Graham
Narrated by: Paul Boehmer
Another great novella of the Krewe team that has a murder mystery, ghosts, suspense, and romance. I love the Krewe series and like these bite size stories.

Book 10.5.

What would spoil your wedding day? Jane and Slone have chosen a magical castle setting only to have the vicar fall to his death on the main staircase and the ghost of a previous occupier being blamed..

The Krewe of Hunters spring into action to solve the mystery.

What s shame about the narration! Slow, unanimated ànd really annoying!
