Publisher's Summary

Nothing is more important to Blake Anderson than the work he does with his brothers at Ace Security. At least that's what he thinks until he meets the fiercely independent Alexis Grant. The security firm's new intern pushes all his buttons - and makes his temperature rise. But giving in to temptation might be risky business.

Alexis can tell that Blake has his doubts about her ability to commit. But while most people look at her and see only a flighty rich girl, she knows he sees much more. Determined to prove herself to Blake, Alexis jumps at the chance to work undercover. And when her case takes a dangerous turn, she puts her trust - and her heart - in his hands.

Now, as Alexis digs into the deadly secrets of a local gang, Blake will lay everything on the line to protect the woman he's come to love.

What a great follow up to book one

What did you love best about Claiming Alexis?

The story. There was so much action and plot and the pace went quickly. The characters had great chemistry and were easily pulled into the action.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Blake. I am always amused by the male blindsided by love and how he comes to terms with that revelation. He's got it all, he's: gentle, caring, protective, loyal, sexy, and loving.

Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed the scene where Blake takes Alexis home after she was forced to drink in her undercover assignment. She blurts out everything and gives Blake a window into her emotions.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have loved to listen in one sitting but the reality of life is that is not always possible. However, I sometimes made opportunities to listen that I normally would not have with other books.

Any additional comments?

I enjoy this series and want to read more by Susan Stoker

good

I have read the previous book as well . I love the story very much. The Anderson brothers are tuff on the outside, but they are the sweetest to the women they love.. I don't care for how they drag out the story.

Ace security goes for the gusto

Alexis and Blake have worked together for a while at the Anderson brothers security firm. It isn't until they are working on a more serious case that Blake opens his eyes to the woman in front of him. Susan Stoker's second book in this series continues to deliver on the action, suspense and holy alpha hotness of the Anderson boys and the women they claim as their own. Erin Bennett breathes life into these characters.

Love this series

The Anderson brothers have it going on. The women in this series are strong independent woman who love fiercely trust them and are rewarded with all the love they deserve.

The dangers are realistic and narration is great.

Nice

Another great book by Susan Stoker, claiming Alexis was pretty good. Again, a brush at first air from the normal romance novels. I truly enjoy the fact that there was no back and forth, I love you, I don't love you, I want you, I don't want you or it was just straight forward. I love you and I want to be with you. Can't wait for the next book.

Might as well call this mini 50 shades of grey

The 1st book in the series was great. This was all about sex and a man “claiming “ his woman. I had to stop listening to it. I’ll give the 3rd book a try. I hope it’s not like this one.
