Publisher's Summary

In the year 2055, humanity almost lost everything....

The rise of the Artificial Intelligence in 2055, known as The Lost Year, resulted in massive casualties on a global scale. Planes crashed, elevators malfunctioned, missiles launched and brought the human race to its knees. Humanity was able to stop the A.I. after a year of tragedy and devastation and has been rebuilding ever since.

Forty years later the Cryptocoin Rush brought with it a new society head. The Corporations deemed the government useless and have replaced them entirely, along with the change they sectioned off the cities. Each district has a Corporation that owns and runs the district, collecting all the taxes on the ones who live and work there. This is the story of one boy in the dystopian city of Tribon.

Sixteen-year-old Kilix is starting his freshman year in a new town. That means new friends, new teachers and a new whole life. The often reclusive Kilix struggles to make friends at his new school and instead makes enemies with the wrong group of kids. Struggling to cope with his mother's illness and keep his enemies at bay, Kilix is met with a conundrum.

In a world torn apart by destruction, there is hope when we look for it.
