Another great edition to the series
This book in The Realms series continues the wonderful storyline as Griff’s companions search for him. It is j packed with action, magic, stats, and comedy. My favorite character in this book is Simon as he gets to travel outside of the Barrow with Lex and the other companions.

Was this another side quest book?
Not sure what to think about this one. I waited for this book with anticipation of some amazing action and new skills and god head powers, instead I felt let it was another side quest book with Lex. This really made me second guess the direction of the series. I hate to be harsh but it let me down.

The book is more like a sub story
The main character isn’t in this book at all so wouldn’t this be a spin-off or sub story... just wasn’t what i wanted and made my expectations fall short so you get a crappy review because its like a 4.5 book or something

Really Enjoyable Series
The Realms series has been a wonderful addition to the LitRPG genre. Although I prefer where the story-line follows Gryph, this was a fun read that felt like a combination of murder-mystery, science fiction, and epic fantasy. Thanks for another good read!

Another Side Quest
I usually skip side stories but, I was so excited to find out what happened to Gryph that I neglected to check the reviews before buying this book. Spoiler: Gryph is not in the story as the book follows Lex. I wish the author would have indicated this in the title.

Why would you end there?
There's a special place in hell reserved for authors who end on such an epic cliffhanger... Jokes aside this has to be one of the best books of the series and the delivery by Armen Taylor was perfect. The breakaway from Gryph back to Lex for this novel keeps the storytelling fresh and provides a different pace and character to the novel. That said, I will not rest until I have attained book 7, I must know how this continues!
