I love the characters and the descriptions in this book. I felt connected to the people and the places. The great performance added to my enjoyment. Can’t wait to listen to the third in the series.

Joseph Tweedale narrates this book and he was really easy to listen to

Story was hard to take a break from. Excellent narration by Joseph , brilliantly told. Stories just get better. Look forward to the next one.

Other than the hero of the series, who is a good guy, obviously, every other character is drawn entirely on predictable, woke lines. All the women are clever, talented, honest, hardworking and likeable. All the men are either criminals, complete idiots or stupid senior officers who aren't as good as the junior female officers. Yawn.
