Publisher's Summary

Ren is in desperate need of a rebound fling. Lucky for him, the smoking hot contractor he hired has just the tool for the job.

The last thing I want is another relationship or another broken heart.

All I need are my bees and the occasional hookup to scratch the itch.

Okay, maybe meeting up with my hot contractor weekly is a little more than occasional. And maybe the way I’m starting to feel about the guy I’ve been anonymously chatting with online should concern me.

But CaulkyAF doesn’t want to meet, and Cole doesn’t want anything serious, so what’s the worst that could happen?

Caulky is book one in the Four Bears Construction Series and can be listened to as a stand-alone. This is a funny, steamy MM story guaranteed to make you laugh and swoon. Absolutely no cheating and no love triangle. This series does not contain shifters, it's the other kind of bears.

steamy, passionate and fun

A fresh and brilliant series opener. Still contains the wit and heart Ms Neuhold is known for, now with sexy bears. I'm loving this new series, new characters, new family! I'm hooked!!

Low angst, funny and a great read!

Caulky is book one in the Four Bears Construction series. A MM romance series.

This is my first time reading K.M Neuhold so I didn’t know what to expect. But I’ve seen her books pop up a few times when reading other MM romance authors. So I decided to give her a read and I’m so glad I did.

Ren leaves his boyfriend of five years and is desperate need of a rebound because the last thing he wants is another broken heart.
Cole is a sexy contractor with rules he doesn’t break, like no repeats and don’t sleep with clients.

This is a great fun and light read. There is very little angst and drama but it’s still gripping enough to hold your attention. It was refreshing to have older characters with Cole in his early 40’s and Ren in his mid 30’s this brought a totally different vibe than a lot I’ve read.

Plus we get to meet the other bears that Cole has his company with Ollie his brother, Stone & Everett. I’m looking forward to where their stories might lead us. Seeing small moments of foreshadowing of what’s to come in this book.

While I agree with the author that the books could be read standalones, I think you get a different build of the world created when reading them in order. So if you’re wanting to read Four Bears Consutrction I’d say start here!

Sweet and sexy but too many coincidences!

Ren, a self-employed technical manual writer and part-time beekeeper, is on the rebound after his 5-yr relationship implodes. In a bar to drown his sorrows, he catches the eye of Cole, a hunky building contractor, who only does one-night stands. Both men are so keen to avoid getting hurt that they’re reluctant to take a chance at happiness. I loved all the characters and I enjoyed this low-angst story, but there were some problems. There were way too many unbelievable coincidences here: after the hookup, Cole just happens to be the contractor Ren picks to upgrade his bathroom; unbeknownst to each other, Ren and Cole just happen to develop an ongoing online relationship with each other through a hookup app. There’s plenty of well-written steam but there are so many sex scenes, I started to glaze over - I think the story could have been shorter or some sex scenes could have been replaced with some angst. I loved Tim Paige’s audio narration of Cole’s chapters, but didn’t warm as much to Liam DiCosmo’s voicing of Ren.
