I always get disappointed when we don't get to meet the new Aliens, however the human characters had evolved in interesting ways to keep the science in fiction.

Excellent narration a few twists to keep you engaged

I wasn’t disappointed with the story but it did take some getting used to the way the story progressed. There are some moments where it carries along well and then some repeated moments in each of the books.

People in the story behaved in extreme ways for the thinnest of reasons. And the writer wasn't able to make the looming threats or foreboding work so the whole story was rather flat. Some of the characters side stories were more interesting and would have made better books.

It wasn't a dreadful story - I just wasn't a fan.

Great story, excellent pace, character development was intriguing and kept you engaged. can't wait for book 2?!! Highly recommend to any true Sci-Fi buffs.
