I chose this book because I dislike cardio

So I read it and learnt a lot !!! Lots of information and facts and figures. Very good listen. I recommend this to people who hate cardio and also those that do hours of cardio per week. Both. All. Read this.

No nonsense advice that works

Advice that is backed by science, and actually works. It cuts through all the BS on the fitness industry and makes what works easy to understand and follow. Very well narrated, and I couldn’t recommend the Micheal Matthews series of books enough. Well worth it if you want to step up to the next level in your fitness journey.

simple and effective

Follow the plan and you will see the gains. I have read bigger leaner stronger and a few other books and the philosophy is the same here. highly recommended if you are serious about getting in shape. good luck

recommended! newbies to gym bunnies

scientific and easy to follow. can't wait to encorparate some of these tips and tricks into my workout routine after being away from the gym for a while.
