It is 1941 and Captain Antonio Corelli, a young Italian officer, is posted to the Greek island of Cephallonia as part of the occupying forces. Absolutely wonderful
I read this book a number of years ago and enjoyed it immensely. Listening to it as an audio book I realise just how beautifully it is written, narration is wonderful and it certainly tugs on the heart strings.
Highly recommended.

phenomenal
i listen at the factory while im working. this was a heartwrenching novel that made it hard to keep a straight face. and the voice acting was superb

Amazing Story beautifully narrated.
Loved the story, merged with a fluid narration into an addictive and immersive experience.
This is where the Audio book is an order of magnitude better than simply reading it in silence.

extremely enjoyable
Beautiful reading brilliant story all the emotions in the story and me. saw the movie when I was young and thought it Beautiful but the book is even more so.

A lyrical if tragic story
