©2018 Freya Barker (P)2020 Podium AudioI really enjoyed the heroine Kerry in book 1 and I think I still prefer her over Bella. Although bella was sassier through the first book. however now I know her story I understand the change in her character.
a couple of negatives..... I find bellas affliction ( for lack of a better word, without spoiling anything) doesn't really resonate with me. for what it is I thought I might have felt more but Ms Barkers writing keeps it on the light to medium side. the H and H didn't seem to grab my romantic side as much as Kerry and Damian did so I felt a little shortchanged there.
but thats all, the rest was awesome. and the narrator's...teddy always great and I so enjoyed Cynthias narration as well.
