Publisher's Summary

Special Agent Luna Roosberg lives and breathes her job. Who needs a personal life when work is so rewarding?

When a new case sends her to investigate a local motorcycle club, covering as the president's new flavor of the week, the lines between professional and personal quickly start to blur.

Although the Arrow's Edge MC stays mostly on the right side of the law since Ouray took the gavel, the appearance of the feds at their gate can still rattle his cage.

When a string of robberies points squarely in Ouray's direction, he's forced to cooperate and put the blonde, prim and proper half-pint on the back of his bike.

With pressure mounting both in - and outside - the club, Ouray no longer knows who he can trust, except the woman who is shaking up his life - and stirring his blood.

Enjoyable story and characters

Probably closer to 3.5. For its genre, thought characters well developed and portrayed, enjoyed the romantic match and developments. some hard hitting storyline elements that might trigger some people. I think the narrators were well chosen for characters, and delivered well.

Trigger alert!

I do love sebastian York narrations, but this woman voice is soooo annoying, I almost gave up!! But if you can pass this, it's a nice story, with a final turn of events that made my eyes roll.

Spoiler ahead

To have a 30 something FBI agent adopt a boy raped by the same guy that raped her at a frat party is so absurd and unrealistic that kind ruined the plot for me.

I am addicted to this series!

This series should be made into a series on Netflix. They will have to tone down the erotica...which in my opinion would only make the story more powerful. Suspenseful and intriguing, while heartfelt and inspiring. I have one more to go... but I don’t want it to end.

I loved the story!

Great story and characters. Sebastian York’ s performance is always outstanding! Unfortunately I agree with some other reviewers about Ms. Hayden’s voice. Her performance is great but her voice is irritating.

B

Great story & series. Male narrator is fantastic. Female narrator is ok except when voicing minor characters - they are all loud & speak with a twang.

Almost Great for me

4.25 Stars for me

This could have been a 5 Star read for me but the constant snipping from the h came across as immature, especially when she was undercover. Through the the first three books, she was the definition of professional but through half of this story, she was just being argumentative. Once the boy became a bigger part of the story, it got a lot more interesting. The end sequence is a bit odd but it is a romance story so it fits. You must pay attention over the last 30 minutes to find out what happens to both bad guys as they are covered in 30 seconds for each, almost as an afterthought.

What would have made this 5 Stars for me?
1. The h being more mature in her behavior with the H when she was undercover and
2. The fate of the bad guys fleshed out a bit more (maybe 2 minutes on each).

Great series so far

This book was a little slow but once it got going I thoroughly enjoyed it. Narrators Sebastian was amazing as usual. Brooke was new to me and I’m on the fence. Do NOT like her male voice will try another book though.

Heavy topics presented in a fun & entertaining way

Some heavy topics are addressed in this romantic suspense, but done in a manner that drives home the egregious acts that are horrendous to think about while still presenting an enjoyable and often times funny reading or listening experience depending on how you approach the book. There is plenty of spicy heat to keep you intrigued as well if that is what you are looking for. I went the audiobook route and the dual narration brings all the characters to life in the book in an interesting way and helps connect you to the characters on a deeper level. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and look forward to the next.

Great story

Frey’s Barker is new to me but I will be looking for more of her books. They are humorous, full of drama and loving gestures. I love romance books with a good story. This one was one of the best I’ve listened to in awhile.
