the narrator brought one of my favorite books to life, pronouncing names correctly and giving life to every character

Great for the Dragonlance junkie.

Good story addition to ther Dragonlance series. Read the original stories first this will answer many questions about the brothers prior to the Chronicles.

Best Narrator YET !

The DragonLance stories are fantastic because the original characters are fantastic. The perfect combination of disparate personalities that creates a magical group of friends.
And since Raistlin is my all time favorite DragonLance character ANY book about him is good reading, and I love how this story picks up after his test and shows that he is human, positive, honorable, and caring. More honorable than sweet lovable Caramon! I understand Raistlin, I can't say the same for most characters.

A good listen.

This is a solid story, but for me it didn’t have the same hold on me. Don’t get me wrong, this is an excellent story with pretty good narration (for DragonLance). I did enjoy it.

Need better narators

Great prequel story. But Chris Sorensen seems to be a bit dyslexic.. he kept mispronouncing small words. A little jarring when you've read the book yourself and you hear what he's doing.

One of the Best Dragonlance books

I love this book and it’s predecessor “Soulforge”. Well written, great characters performance! The portrayal of boot camp was spot on. Will listen to these two many, many times!

Narrator is.... only okay

I love this book but the narrator has me frustrated. What exactly is he trying to do with Kit’s voice? Sounds awkward and painful. The men he’s great with... or at least not bad... but Kit’s dialogue was downright hideous. I have to wonder if they do any review or editing for the audiobooks...

A particularly good narrator and story!

The narrator is excellent. His voicing of Raistlin and Caramon is spot on. The story is also a really decent one. It fleshes out Kitiara and the brothers in a tale of ambitious ascent. The new characters introduced are both interesting and again narrated well. Highly recommend.

loved it

I enjoyed this book. Loved seeing how the brothers went from children in the soul forged book into young adults refining there trades in this book. The narration was wonderful. I highly recommend this book.
