Publisher's Summary

I left my life behind me.

My sister.

My MC.

I need room to breathe and room to think, to make my own choices and to own my mistakes.

Bitterness and anger cloud my judgment when it comes to the MC. What is so great about them that I can't have on the outside? What is so great about the patch?

Death?

Blood?

Fear?

That is all I've experienced with the club.

I hated to leave my sister. She's the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

But it's time for something new.

And yet, I find myself searching for trouble, wanting - needing to be someone's savior.I have the best poker face, but when I lay down my winning hand and they shove a girl at me, bound and scared, for my prize, I knowI've landed in the middle of something bigger than me.

The girl? Scarlett Rose.

My reason for being.

My clarity.

I just have to prove it to her.

She needs protection, and I'll die before they hurt her again.

Boomer and Scarlet

Yes I liked this book and would recommend it. I liked how Boomer stepped away and had his own personal Demons and yet couldn’t help himself when needed. Narration was great!

Full package

The storyline is intelligent, funny, moving, and SEXY! If you liked Reaper, this just gets better. Then to have Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister narrate, I couldn’t stop listening.

Boomer💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥💣💥

Boomer came a long way from a boy to becoming a man. For him to have a peace of mind, he walked away from his old life, it hurt him to do it but it has to be done. He had to do it to walk his own path, by doing so he met the love of his life and have a new lease/purpose in life, he has his heart, a new brotherhood. Altjough he misses his old life he knows he'll always win no matter what life throws at him. Author K.L. Savage wrote the most wonderful, emotional, gut wrenching story and she did an amazing job as well on choosing these narrators, they portray the story just like the book, Thank You 😊

2nd book

I just finished listening to the second book in this series. Boy was it good. Now onto book 3. You might like the book but due to some mature language I would not let a child below 18 read or isten to these books.

He's not the kid the MC thinks.

Boomer (Jenkins) and - Scarlett

Great narration to this third book, although it is a good story as a stand-alone. He had to leave the MC. He grew up here. His father died here. He found the sister he never knew he had here. The man who raised him was here and took his sister. He was tortured for that same MC. Too much for his troubled mind. How could he know when he landed he'd find trouble and so much more.

Scarlett didn't remember how she ended up here in the dark dank basement almost naked and chained like a dog. The voice next to her meant she wasn't alone. It also meant someone else was in the same horrible situation.

Boomer found a place on the ocean. A rundown motel. A place he could settle and help rebuild for an old crotchety man. A man who knew more than he wanted to say about the MC in this town.

A chance to do something for others. A chance with a woman he didn't deserve. A chance to...you'll have to listen to find out how Boomer gets to put his talents to good use as well as finding himself.

This third book in the series is another winner. We find Boomer isn't the spoiled kid his father's MC treats him. While confused and suffering he's a good man at heart and to some a hero. Characters you love or hate make this a great audio and book, as I read and listened, leaves you wanting more.

Yes!! I love Boomer!💜

He’s broken and crazy but there’s someone for everyone, right?
This was a fantastic MC love story. It had me from the beginning and I couldn’t stop. Great MC drama, with a perfect combination of banter, sex and suspense.
The narration was absolutely perfect!! This is book 2 and can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book!

The Synopsis could be better.

No spoilers... This is a dark book that may trigger some (first 5 chapters) Great story with outstanding narration.

Awesome

Poor Boomer. He knows he's messed up and needs something but doesn't know what he needs. This causes him to do what most people with trauma and intrusive thoughts do and push every one away and run, trying to find anything that will save him.
The overall story was very good and makes you feel for the characters and their mental struggles. While that gets a 5 star, I lowered it to 4 star because with the timeline for how long Scarlett is in the basement more should have happened, especially in light of later events in the book when they revisit the basement.
I hope we get to see more of Boomer in the future to check-in on how he's growing.

3...2...1...Boom!

I loved getting a glimpse into Boomer's psyche and discovering why he never quite felt he fit in. We see his reluctance to be a Ruthless King in the Reaper books but never really know why he does what he does. Boomer and Scarlett's story has some scary and dark moments but when it comes down to it, maybe love and acceptance can break through to find the light...with the help of a grenade or two 😉

Dysfunctional love story

Boomer is a lost soul and a hot mess. He rescues kidnapped Scarlett. I thought it was a sad story but it did have a HEA.

Love this series

I have read the books and love listening to audible books. The narrators did a wonderful job portraying the author’s story.
