Love this series

if you're looking for a fantasy series that has everything here it is.
I love this series and this world of magic that's come from this amazingly talented author. Can't wait for the next installment.

A good book, but kind of depressing

The MC was raised to be a sociopath, but nature vs. nurture won (barely). So she cares, deeply, but has problems expressing this. The narrator nailed this perfectly with her depiction. Unfortunately, listening to someone monotone through their tale is dreary, no matter the plot, action or romance scenes. For this reason, I won’t continue with the series in Audible books, but may read the Kindle version.
