The change in narrator is both jarring and disappointing. I found it hard to listen to and get use to the new voice which distracted me from the story. There is limited definition now between the voices of each character making it confusing to know who’s talking at times. In particular the female voices are terrible. It’s frustrating to hear such strong female characters now sound weak, annoying and at times pathetic. I found myself switching off even in scenes that should have held tension because the narration fell flat with high volume but an absence of any engaging emotion. I’m invested in the story but it’s going to be a push to keep listening to these voices for another 6 books.

the voice of the reader is terrible. he seems to be telling, so you turn the volume down and then cant hear the other characters. His voice is tinny and harsh. very very hard to listen to. I was enjoying the series but I won't finish it because I cant listen to him.
