never wanted it to end. read the book a while ago and instead of rereading thought id check out audio! So enjoyable and teasing to my eyes ...what a delight to hear all the passion,bite and humurous words .

I almost always love Geissingers work and especially her mafia romances. She balances believability with the intensity and troupes we love perfectly.

I put off listening to this one after listening to the sample, because personally I just wasn't a huge fan of the accent the female narrator uses for the FMC, it's not a bad performance by any means just a personal preference thing, but once I got used to it it didn't really bother me. Troy Duran is always great and at least to me (a non Irish person) his accent sounds pretty good. It's also Duet narration, which I love.

It's nothing crazy plot-wise, in fact, there isn't much of a subplot at all. Geissinger's sort of spin-off series 'Queens and Monsters definitely generally has a bit more going on that front if that's something your looking for, but in a relatively short and sweet book like this, there didn't need to be. It was all about the whirlwind romance with some minor plot points to move things along and that was fine by me since.

Troy Duran as the MMC is the perfect choice - that deep Irish accent left me in a puddle!
Marnye Young as the FMC is also an excellent choice - the FMC is sassy, strong, fierce and independent.
This story is soooo good and JT Geissinger is a master at story telling!
Highly recommended.
