A great book to get lost in
Great story, and fantastic idea by the author and narrator.
After expeditionary force series this is a great other option for sci-fi

Not at all what I was expecting, much better!
Another great book by the authors. Fans of sci-fi and the likes of Old Man's war, Galaxy Outlaws and Wayward Galaxy will enjoy.

A little slow to get going but gets better. Overall great pulp SciFi which is what I unashamedly love.

I've listened to this entire expeditionary force series twice and it's a great ride. Even better through the second time.. Trust the awsumness...

An incredible series, a must listen for any SciFi genre fan.
This series has taken what I thought I knew about the genre and made it so much more the better. All of the characters, love them or hate them, are so vivid with depth and individuality. The worlds are familiar and yet feel so vastly alien. The roller-coaster of laughs, adventure, story building and tragedy all add up to a series that you can't stop listening to once you've started. 11 books in so far, can't wait to see where this all finishes up. Jeffrey Kafer is the perfect voice for this series, I owe so much of my love for this to him and his performances
