Publisher's Summary
Survival is just the beginning....
After being infected by the deadly Vita virus Dylan barely survives a harrowing journey through the zombie-infested United States. Finding refuge and a cure at a US military base, she believes the worst is behind her. Little does she know her nightmare is just starting.
The stakes couldn't be higher.
When the undead overrun the base, Dylan and a small group of survivors are forced to take matters into their own hands. Determined to deliver Dr. Lee and her research to her headquarters in Fort Detrick, Maryland, they set off into the unknown. The success of their mission could determine the fate of the human race. Can they make it in time, or will they join the ranks of the living dead?

Great second book in the series
With our characters separated. we get to follow along as the two different groups try to survive. Dylan, Sol and Dr. Tara make their way to Fort Detrick to continue work on the cure while Alex and Amy stay at the house only to be trapped by the Fort Knox hoard. Definitely recommend this series by Baileigh Higgins. Kristen James does a wonderful of narrating.

Fair narration, good story
The story was engaging, despite the distracting pronunciation of the narrator. Specifically, I was distracted by the pronunciation of "get" as "git" when quoting people who would usually pronounce the word correctly.
