I absolutely loved this series and couldn't stop listening, the storyline had me intrigued the entire time. Adam Barr does a fantastic job at narrating and kept me engaged, it was like a movie in my head and I just didn't want this set of books to finish. A must for those that love an apocalyptic theme books and hope this gets made into a movie or tv series.

I could not read much beyond book four. The storyline is relentlessly obvious. Some of the dramatic scenes are incredibly frustrating. I think the author was going for tension. Ending chapters with a variant of “…or so they thought”? Really? I already know what will happen in the next two books without reading them. Very young teen readers with not much life or reading experience might be intrigued.

Trite and essentially boring. Written for teenagers by someone trying to think like a teenager. Kung Fu fighting? That was in the 70s. Would not recommend.
