Bell Hooks had me engaged, consumed and awaken in various forms through each chapter. I found myself reflecting my own self journey in every passage as the book was read. The familial love examples I want to implement in my parenthood, affirming the words that “a blissful home is where love can flourish.” Another take away from this book is to practice the six pillars of self esteem. I spent a whole day engulf in every word, the first audible I have purchased, and read within the 24hrs of purchasing.
