Great Read
A Deadly Dessert Disaster was another great quick read by Meredith potts. Sabrina would love for some peace, quiet and relaxation. Sabrina is having a bad day that only gets worse when a dead body is discovered. This case seems to be going cold when a strange twist happens. I can't wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

Quick Cozy with David and Sabrina.
The Detective and the Sleuth are at it again in their tiny town of crazies! Cozy fun and their love keep me coming back! While I love Stephanie Quinn’s narration, some of her male voices just don’t work for me. They sound like they hurt!

A Deadly Dessert Disaster
Just as Sabrina and David are thinking maybe things have calmed down in their little town they're called to a crime scene. As they arrive Sabrina notices her daugher and offers her support as this is the first actual body she's discovered. Now the Carlsons need to find the killer. The suspects are her husband, her sister and the man who offered to buy her business. Clues keep popping up as well as lies and hidden truths that pop out at surprising moments. Stephanie Quinn is an excellent narrator who brings the characters to life. Fantastic audio and story

Earns 4/5 Alibis...Delicious Fun!
Do nightmares herald someone’s death? Sabrina Carlson is wrestling with that idea. Rachel McHenry is dead. She seemed a nice lady, but as the murder investigation evolves, there seems to be more to her and those around her that increase the number of suspects, compounded by the fact that alibis are questionable. Sabrina, manager of the popular Daley Buzz Coffee Company, has found a great deal of success, along with some personal peril, investigating suspicious deaths, and although her detective/husband worries about her safety, he recognizes her innate abilities, so they collaborate...can’t beat ‘em...join ‘em? Meredith Potts has penned an entertaining novella following a well-established cozy formula. It’s not complex, just an easy-to-read cozy with sensory-fulfilling language, delightful humor, and traditional characters illustrated by realistic dialogue. I recommend getting this book, cozy fans will enjoy it, and for audiobook fans, I suggest checking out the audio version narrated by voice artist Stephanie Quinn. Although it is more of a conventional interpretation, I enjoyed it. There were so many characters involved, it seemed a huge task to perform the distinct and varied voices adequately. But, the story had enough names, he said, she said, and references to make it obvious who’s talking, so I wasn’t confused. Performing male voices, a challenge for female narrators, was satisfactorily completed. However, she did well illustrating tone, emotion, suspense. I love cozies. I love uncomplicated. I love clever and humorous stories. This book in any format has the boxes checked.
