About this listen

The long-awaited finale to the #1 New York Times bestselling Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy.

Two villains, one girl, and a deadly battle for happily ever after.

Evangeline Fox ventured to the Magnificent North in search of her happy ending, and it seems as if she has it. She's married to a handsome prince and lives in a legendary castle. But Evangeline has no idea of the devastating price she's paid for this fairytale. She doesn't know what she has lost, and her husband is determined to make sure she never finds out . . . but first he must kill Jacks, the Prince of Hearts.

Blood will be shed, hearts will be stolen, and true love will be put to the test in A Curse for True Love, the breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy.

This was the perfect conclusion to an utterly delightful series. The Archer finally got his Fox and the Villain got exactly what he deserved. I can’t wait to explore more from this author. It was a well-narrated audiobook

Delightful conclusion

Eva and Jacks are the definition of soulmates!! My forever Roman Empire!!! I wish this series would go on forever and ever~💘🫶💕💫

EVAJACKS IS MY ROMAN EMPIRE

He didn’t seem to understand the vibe at all. He had really deep voices for supposedly “young” men. His pace was really slow and very monotone. He gave no emotion to his performance and it was torturous to listen to his parts. I had to put it on 1.5 speed to make it bearable. I will not be listening to another book be narrates.

The male narrator made me almost quit listening

This was the perfect ending to Evangeline and Jacks’ story. I loved every second of it.
It was read so well. Rebecca Solar is a one of the best narrators I’ve heard.

Too good for its own good

I agree with a lot of other reviews I've seen on this book. There were a lot of loose ends and it felt unfinished. I feel like there is so much time put into Eva's internal dialogue which could be better used to develop the story more instead. We never find out what happened to Luc or her sister ect. I found the ending around the couple was somewhat good, but quite vague and I was able to easily predict one of the plot twists at the end. It was worth knowing how it ended but after reading the Caraval series I feel like she could have finished this stronger. The narrators were both amazing 👏

Narrators did a really good job!

Male narrator was HORRIBLE to listen to. And it’s not that he’s a bad voice actor. It’s the fact that his interpretation was so jarring from what we were used to with the female narrator within the first 2 books and this one. A male voice was NOT needed for this third book, especially as I couldn’t even figure out who he was voicing half the time as it was so different.

Anyway, the story was great, the performance was also great - and he’d be great in something else or possibly if he had been brought in to begin with.

Everything great but the male narrator??

Rebecca Soler is a great narrator. Didn’t need the male performer - Rebecca honestly does a better job on the male voices (and men doing female voices is always a bit ugh)

Loved the series - don’t need the male performer

What a great final book to the Once Upon a Broken Heart series. I didn't want it to end. I love how it all played out, I hope we get more books from this world in the future.

Very YA but these books are amazing. Super easy reads and heart jerking romance. 10/10 would recommend.

this is a story that should be read to you, just like all fairytales. one of the best in audio, because the story lends itself to be read out loud while we all gather around, ready for a truly grand adventure.

Great story
