What is still an enjoyable story but again I have to ask where was the progression

This book is amazing the MC is really likeable and the world and what’s going on in it has me hooked.

The start was a bit difficult, with the presumably 20 something main character being such an obnoxious child! I knew that couldn't continue for long and I'm glad I kept on for one of the best books I've heard.

Excellent narration!

Though, somebody needs an editor, there were a few weary/wary filed/filled things going on. Even so, one of the best.

One of the better subtle aspects, the author didn't describe the female characters by how much they'd like to "make love" with them. It's so refreshing!

If you are into the game world like Frost Punk and HZD as well as HFW.

then this book is not only a combination of the dread and the frost hell of an earth gone cold.
but also adds killer robots.
