About this listen
Free, powerful, and in possession of a dead Lord’s storage ring, all he needs is a new identity, and he can start his career as an archhuman delver.
With his time in Faralethal’s mines coming to an end, Freddy is finally free to tackle the world. With the spoils of his unlikely victory, he expects to take the world of delving by storm. Unfortunately for him, things are never that easy.
Big city life is harsh for those without backing. There are many who have been born into power, and many who are willing to do anything to get ahead.
In the grand scheme of things, an independent two-star is still prey.
But with the freedom, funds, and most importantly, time, it won’t be long until he shows the world why, despite all that had tried to kill him, he is still alive and thriving.
Book 2 of this action-packed LitRPG Adventure from Robert Blaise set two hundred years after a reality-altering apocalypse.
Featuring a weak-to-strong Brawler MC who never backs down, a unique power system, apocalyptic elements and more!

Dark & Gritty
Excellent story of pain and perseverance. Freddy wants to do his best but always gets betrayed. Betrayal is suffering.

Gritty, funny, an all round great listen
I love this series, though I’m a sucker for anything that explores the darker/slightly more realistic side of how people would behave with a massive disparity in personal power.
If you liked Primal Hunter and similar stories you’ll enjoy this one too.

Enjoying the story
So the story is great but still very one dimensional characters which subtract from it. It may be the narrator but there are very few normal interactions between characters.

Narrators volume is horrible
His screaming volume sounds like its been increased two fold, and his stupid singing was so loud it made me want to quit this book. Needs editing or volume adjustments when he sings/yells specifically.

Engaging story!!
This book continues with a fantastic story and great audio narration. While not constantly full of fighting like most in this litres style of story the story still manages to keep me very engaged and enthralled. I am very keen for the next book in the series.

fell apart
the first book was great and showed a lot of promise but this book has fallen apart had shown that the author is as amateur as you expect from these random audiobook lit RPG titles The main characters thought processes and decision-making hold very little verisimilitude or consistency he may choose not to do something in one chapter and then the very next chapter do that exact thing. it's nonsensical and the direction of the book has been lost. he's floundering
