Hello, I'm a leadership coach and speaker on careers and crazy busyness. I used to run a successful recruitment company and became fascinated by why some people become more successful than others. I sold my business, retrained in organisational psychology and career management and qualified in coaching psychology. I realise now that success largely comes down to two factors: crystal clear goals and a learned ability to cope with the obstacles that get between us and what we want to achieve (often obstacles of our own making). My philosophy for career success is Mind Flipping: to flip your focus away from yourself and instead look outwards on to the problems that you, uniquely, can solve for others. It's not about you: it's about what you can do for others. Then I realised that my clients were inevitably crazy busy; rarely focusing their time, talent and attention on tasks that matched their values and goals. That's why I wrote the Crazy Busy Cure, to help people become happy and productive instead. Just don't do it has become my motto.
